πŸ”™Β Back to overview

Well, well, it all started in 2011. πŸ™‚

Every year during summer holiday we went to the Belgian coast – yes, we do have a coastline, even with some surf houses!

I decided to do a beachcamp at the Twins surfclub, we did kiting and skim boarding, we did a sea dropping, learned how to knot and we would also try to surf if the conditions were a bit better. On the very last day of the camp the conditions were a bit better, and there it was: my first day of surfing. πŸ™‚ I stood up for the first time, the waves were really small, but it was fun.

After that, I wanted to surf every summer, but I wouldn’t stay in Belgium off course. The next year, I went to Berria with BoardX and in 2013 we went surfing for the first time in Taghazout, Morocco. This lovely little town made me fall in love with surfing even more. It’s a wonderful place to surf, the teachers really help you with a big smile, surrounded by good people and good vibes. We went there 6 times and still counting πŸ˜‰ Just to go somewhere else as well we also went two times to Portugal: Lagos and Ericeira. πŸ™‚

Made some progression over the year’s, but it’s the most important to have fun and be a happy surfer. πŸ˜‰
